This blog has 78 songs composed by Sajjad Hussain and that leaves about 20 more Sajjad Hussain songs that are yet to be covered.
These remaining songs are rare songs that are difficult to find and they may be available only with private dedicated collectors. I had mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I had the privilege of meeting Mr Bakshshish Singh in Sudhir jee’s residence. He has a nice collection of old and obscure songs and he is ever willing to share them. While leaving, he left his portable hard disk with Sudhir jee for him to see what was useful for him. Next day, when I was again in Sudhir Jee’s residence, I looked at the contents of the hard disk and copied some of it as may fit in my pen drive.
While looking at the contents later, I find that it contains three Sajjad Hussain compositions from “Kasam” (1947) that have not been discussed in the past and that were not available on YT. Bakshish Singh jee had mentioned that the difficult to find Sajjad Hussain compositions like these were in poor quality due to wear and tear of the records. Any Sajjad Hussain composition in poor recording quality is better that nothing- I had said.
Here is one of these rare songs from “Kasam” (1947). This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Anjum Pilibhiti is the lyricist.
The sound quality is not upto the mark and as a result I have not been able to note down the lyrics at several places. I request readers with better ears to help point out the missing words/ mistakes in the lyrics.
Better quality recording of this song may be available but till I get hold of them, this is the copy of the song that we have at present. Despite the sound quality, one can notice the unmistakable Sajjad Hussain stamp on this song.

just wish one day the song wud be of better quality. if it is so mesmerizing in such poor audio quality, it wud do wonders when heard in good quality
