“Gaban” (1966) was based on a Munshi Premchand Novel of the same name. It was a B J Production movie which was produced by B N Sonthalia and R K Sorel and directed by Krishan Chopra and Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The movie had Sunil Dutt, Sadhana, Zeb Rehman, Minoo Mumtaz, Agha, Kanhaiyalal, Anwar Hussain, Badri Prasad, Leela Mishra, P Kailash, Pratima Devi, Kamal Kapoor, Misra, Sarita Devi, B B Bhalla, Brahm Bhardwaj, Surekha Pandit, R K Soral, Ravikant, Kailash Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Sandeep, Mohsin Abdullah, Haroon, Laxmi Arya, R S Dubey, Meenakshi, Saroj Banerjee, Mehar Banu, C S Dubey, Assi Dutt, Mukund Banerjee, Deenanath, Shekhchand, Hakeem Lateef, Ranjit, Polson, Hashmat Rai, Rajiv D Grover, Bela Agha, Baldev Mehta, Ratan Gaurang, Abdul, Krishan Chopra, Moolchand etc in it.
