“Laal Bangla” (1966) was a Jugal Productions movie. It was produced and directed by Jugal Kishore. The movie had Sujit Kumar, Prithviraj Kapoor, Sheikh Mukhtar, Jayanthi, Shyama, Rachna, Jugal Kishore, Hiralal, Mohan Choti etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from this movie. This song in fact appears twice in the movie. I have no idea if they are treated as two different records in their record versions. I request our knowledgeable readers to thro more light on the matter.
Listening to the song gives the impression that one has heard a similar tune before. And then it dawns on one’s mind that the tune is so reminiscent of the iconic Madan Mohan composition Lag ja gale ke phir ye haseen raat ho na ho(Woh Kaun Thi)(1964).
This song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur and its picturisation is just as suspenseful as was the case in some suspense movies of those days where a lady dressed in while would be shown wandering on moonlit nights with such songs playing in the background.
Gulshan Bawra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Usha Khanna.

Suman Kalyanpur has given good and collection worth songs,this song also comes in same categorie.sounds like suspense song.
