“Opera House”(1961) was produced and directed by A G Nadiadwala. The movie had B Saroja Devi, Ajit, Lalita Pawar, Maruti, Balam, S N Banerji, Niranjan Sharma, K N Singh, Mirza Musharraf, Mumtaz Begum, Munshi Munaqqa, Johnny Whisky, Sarjoo Abid, Vikram Kashmiri, Leela, Bela Bose, Abila etc in it.
As many as five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata and chorus. The song is picturised as a stage dance performance on B Saroja devi and others.
Chitragupta is the music director. Majrooh Sultanpuri(1919- 24 may 2000), whose thirteenth death anniversary falls today (24 may 2013), is the lyricist of this song.

Those movies and songs and lyrics manifest village girls, village life and simplicity of life…love and hatred, hero and villain..etc. Chitraguptaji coloured such several songs with melody . Many of his tunes and compositions strike resemblance with those of CRamchandra’s .. Neverthless, our film industry will miss him…s
