“Heera Moti” (1959) was produced by Pravin Desai and directed by Krishan Chopra for Rupalaya production. The story of this movie was based on Munshi Premchand’s story called “Do Bailon Ki Katha” (Story of two bullocks). Heera and Moti are the names of the two bullocks in this lovely story which is written from the point of view of the two bullocks.
Today (14 july 2013) is the 96th birth anniversary of Roshan (14 july 1917- 16 november 1967). On this occasion, here is a song from “Heera Moti” (1959). This song is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Shubha Khote. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
