“Daada” (1949) was an Omar Khayyam Productions movie. It was directed by Harish. The movie had Sheikh Mukhtar, Shyam, Munawwar Sultana, Cuckoo, Begum Para, Mukri, Ansari, Maya Banerji, Pratima Devi, Murad etc in it.
One song from the movie has been discussed in the past. Here is another song from this movie. This song, like the first one, is sung by Mukesh and Surinder Kaur. Shewan Rizvi is the lyricist. Naashaad is the music director.
Seeing that the singers have sung more than one song in the movie, one can guess that they have sung for the lead pair. Who formed the lead paitr in this movie ? Was it Shyam and Munawwar Sultana ? or was it Shyam and Begam Para, or may be Shyam and Maya Bannerji ?
