“Prem Nagar” (1974) was produced by D Rama Naidu and directed by K S Prakash Rao. The movie had Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Ashok Kumar, Bindu, Asrani, Ramesh Deo, Nana Palsikar, Agha, Prem Chopra, Kamini Kaushal, David Abraham etc in it.
Six songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh song from the movie. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar. It is picturised inside an aircraft on Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini. Hema Malini is the air hostess and Rajesh Khanna is a drunk passenger who sings this song in a drunk state.

This is a famous ghazal sung beautifully by other eminent ghazal singers like Jagjit Singh Zirvi and many others.Somehow I feel that this is another song which has been previously sung by a famous ghazal singer and became popular and when KK attempted it, he fared rather poorly. previous song I have in mind is Aahista Aahista, by Jagjit singh.

The guy to whom Hema malini serves cup of drink is the producer of the movie Prem nagar, D RAMA NAIDU(at 0:02) and throught the song clip, he appears.(holding a magazine in the hand and utters thank you )
