“Dil Aur Mohabbat” (1968) was produced by Harish Shah and Vinod Shah and directed by Anand Datta. The movie had Joy Mukherjee, Sharmila Tagore, Ashok Kumar, Bela Bose, K. N. Singh, Johny Walker, Nasir Hussain, Asha Nadkarni, Anoop Kumar, Poornima, Gajanan Jagirdar, Randhir, Sachin, Tuntun, Jankidas, Jagdish, Sheela, Ravikant, Ravindra, Dhanna, Khosla, Haroon, Tarun, Vijay Deewan, Balwant, Birbal etc in it.
Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fifth song from the movie. This song is a mujra song. It is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is lip synced by Bela Bose. Her clients includes a bearded and bespectacled ( aka disguised in Hindi movie parlance) Ashok Kumar, who seems to be linked to Bela Bose in the past (as revealed by a picture of Bela Bose kept in his wallet which becomes visible to the moviegoers as well as a baddie seated among the audience as Ashok Kumar removes a currency note to hand over to Bela Bose as a reward for a mujra song well performed.

Joy Mukerji is shown playing Tabla, disguised as an old ‘Tabalchi’, was actually the son of Ashok Kumar, who was a police inspector in the movie. Joy was a wanted ‘criminal’. He saw the pic of his mother Poornima in Ashok Kumar’s wallet & thus recognised his father.
