Robin Chatterjee ( Real Name Rabindranath Chatopadhyaya) was born on 8-1-1914 at Calcutta. He started with Bangla films in 1941 and became famous. In 1945,he gave first break to Talat Mahmood in film Rajlaxmi-45. he gave music to 10 Hindi films like Ratnadeep,Pehli Shaadi,
Firdaus,majboori,Shobha etc.
He was a fat person. He died on 2-4-76 at Bombay.
Robin Banerjee was born in 1930. His name was also Rabindra Bandopadhyaya. He was asst to Hemant Kumar. He had composed the famous child song “Naani teri morni ko Mor le gaya”sung by Rano mukherjee in film ‘Maasoom’-60. This was the only song he composed in that film. He got only costume and stunt films like Vazir e azam,Sakhi Robin,Samson and deliala etc .He did 18 Hindi films till 1973. He died on 27-7-86.

A clarification- Nani teri morni was the only song composed by Hemant kumar and the rest all songs were done by Robin Banerjee. The sentences may cause confusion,hence this.
