“Sati Renuka” (1961) was directed by K S Prakash Rao for D R Films. The movie had G. Varlaxmi, Jamuna, Krishna Kumari etc in it.
Here is a rare song from this obscure movie. The song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur and Subir Sen. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. S L Merchant Shreeram are the name that are mentioned as the music directors of this movie though I have also seen the name of Shivramkrishna mentioned as the music director in one site. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie and on the details of this song including details about the music directors of this movie.

‘Sati Renuka’ (1961) was dubbed in HIndi from Telugu film, ‘Renuka Devi Mahathyam’ (1960).
