It is almost a week since the song no. 14 of the series was posted. The wait has been fruitful. The series is extended by one more song, and now it will have 16 songs.
The fifteenth song presented here is from the film ‘Pakshiraaj’ (1959). S. N. Tripathi is the music director and lyrics are written by Qamar Jalaalabaadi. This is another Lata solo. The lyrics of this song in English and Hindi are contributed by Sudhir Kapoor Sir.
No song from this film is posted in the blog. The search on the net revealed only the name of Nirupa Roy as the cast. The information provided by the uploader is Manhar Desai, Nirupa Roy, Ulhas, Shalini, Anant Marathe. As only audio link is available,it is difficult to say on whom it is picturized. I have heard the song again now, it sounds a Nirupa Roy kind of song, judging by Lata’s voice too.
This is an enjoyable happy sounding song by Lata Mangeshkar.
