“Majhdhaar” (1947) was a Minerva Production and it was directed by Sohrab Modi. The movie had Surendra, Khursheed, Sadiq Ali, E Tarapore, Baby Tabassum, Rafiq Ghaznavi, Surekha etc. in it.
This movie had three music directors in it, viz Ghulam Haider, Anil Biswas and Gyan Dutt.
One song from “Majhdhaar” (1947) has been discussed in the past.
Today (18 may 2014) is the death anniversary of Khursheed Bano (14 april 1914- 18 april 2001). And it was also her 100th birth anniversary four days ago. As a tribute to Khursheed Bano, here is a duet from “Majhdhaar” (1947). This song is sung by Khusheed Bano and Surendra. Shams Lucknowi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anil Biswas.
Only the audio of this song is available but is is clear that the song was picturised on Khursheed Bano and Surendra themselves.

Video is not working.
In any case, the song was incomplete as Surendra’s solo version covering only the first antara of the song rendered by Khursheed Bano was not included.
I have made a fresh video of the complete song and uploaded on YT today.
‘jaan’ should be corrected as ‘rain’.
‘rain ruk jaa’.
Other corrections in the lyrics indicated by nahm above are correct as I hear the same words.
