“Mirza Sahiban”(1947) was directed by K Amarnath for Madhukar Pictures. Trilok Kapoor and Noorjehan were the lead pair in the title role of Mirza and Sahiban respectively. Other cast included Roop Kamal, Amir Bano, Gope, Baby Anwari, Cuckoo etc.
Nine songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the tenth and final song from the movie. This song is sung by Noorjahaan and it is picturised on her as well. This movie in fact was her last Hindi movie before she migrated to Pakistan in the aftermath of partition. And she certainly signed off in style. What a superb song it is !
Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music was composed by Husnlal Bahgatram and Pt Amarnath.

Superb song indeed.
Your posts are very often connected with milestones – well indirectly this one is too – for me. It is our wedding anniversary today and this is like a gift ! Remembering my father today watching this song.
