“Doctor” (1941) was directed by Subadh Mittar for New Theatres, Calcutta. This movie was an all Pankaj Mullick show, who had sung songs and composed music for this movie and in addition he had played the lead role in this movie as well. This movie was a path breaking movie of its time.

YIPPEEEE! Doctor (1941) joins the ranks of movies where all songs from the movie have been covered in the blog. I had only heard the Pankaj Mullick song from this movie .. the rail song.. Aayi Bahar… I loved that song and now I like this song too. It is tough to believe this was made in the early 1940s. Off to hear the rest of the songs from the movie. Congratulations and thank you Atul ji.
