“Naag Mandir” (1966) was directed by Shantilal Soni for Mayur Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Mahipal, Vijaya Chaudhary, Indira Bansal, B M Vyas etc in it.

Today (3 september 2013) is the birth anniversary of Pyarelal Sharma, one half of the legendary music director duo of Laxmikant Pyarelal. Laxmikant Pyarelal are the second most prolific music director duo in the blog with 564 songs (behind Shankar Jaikishan). On this occasion, here is a duet from “Naag Mandir” (1966). This song is sung by Mahendra Kapoor and Lata. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
Only the audio of this song is available. Seeing that Mahipal and Vijaya Chaudhary were the lead pair in this movie, my guess is that this song was picturised on them. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
