“Sohni Mahiwal” (1946) was directed by Ishwarlal and Ravindra Jaikar for Jayant Desai Productions, Bombay. The movie had Ishwarlal, Begam Para, Mubarak, Dixit, Revashankar, Saeed ahmad, Dharpure, Bibibai, Shobha, Nafees Begam, Kesarbai etc in it.
One song from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the second song from the movie. This song is sung by Zohrabai Ambalewaali and G M Durrani. Swami Ramanand is the lyricist. Music is composed by Lal Muhammad.
Only the audio of this song is available. The song is obviously picturised on the lead pair playing the title roles. The lead actors were Ishwarlal and Begam Para, I guess. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
