A song that often wriggle or squirm somewhere in some graycells of my brain ….

इस नगमें की रचना में तीनों महारथियों की परिकाष्ठा अपने चरम पर दिखाई पड़ती है … हसरत जी के दर्द से लबालब बोल किसी भी ह्रदय को कंपकपाने का माद्दा रखते हैं । वसंत देसाई की धुन और कौरस चलती सांसों को भी रुकने को मजबूर करने और लता जी की आवाज दिलो-दिमाग को झकझोरने के लिए विवश करने के लिए सक्शम दिखाई पड़ते हैं । कोरल प्रभाव को गीत में सही जगहं इस्तेमाल करना हो तो अनिल बिस्वास, सलिल चौधरी और शंकर जयकिशन के बाद वसंत देसाई की याद आना लाजमी है । इस नगमें में भी उन्होनें कोरस का अद्दभुत प्रयोग सही जगहों पर किया है ।
