“Ten O’clock” (1958) was a Niagara Pictures production movie. It was directed by Jugal Kishore. The movie had Suresh, Geeta Bali, Sheikh Mukhtaar, Yakoob, Mirza Musharraf, Maruti,Daisy Irani etc in it.
Five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Today (23 november 2014) is the 84th birth anniversary of Geeta Dutt (23 november 1930- 20 july 1972). Here is a song from “Ten O Clock” (1958) on this occasion.
This is a fast pace song and Geeta Dutt makes light work of this difficult to sing song. Khawar Zamaan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ram Ganguly.
The song is picturised as a club dance song on a lady whom I am unable to identify. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
PS-HFGK does not mention the name of singer for this song. But listening to the song leaves no doubt in mind that this song is sung by Geeta Dutt.
