“Maala”(1941) was produced by Prakash Pictures and was directed by Mahendra Thakur and P.Jairaj (actor). The movie had Miss Rose, Jayant, P Jairaj, Nazir, Heera, Lallu Bhai, Daya bai, Munshi Khanzar etc. in it.
Five songs from the movie have been discussed in the blog.
Here is the sixth song from the movie. It is sung by Miss Heera. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad. The song is a Lord Krishna related song where Madho (short for Madhav viz Lord Krishna) is exhorted to come back to Bharat since the coutry needs him again.
Only the audio of this song is available. Since Heera’s name appears in the cast, it can be guessed that the song is picturised on herself.
I have not been able to get one word right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections in the lyrics wherever applicable.

Could it be picturised on Heera the actress and sung by herself; same with Miss Rose.
