“Chhaliya”(1973) was produced by Sudesh Raj Gupta and directed by Mukul Dutt. The movie had Navin Nischol, Shatrughan Sinha, Nanda, Helen, Jairaj, Sajjan, Asrani, Manmohan, Bhagwan, Rajendra Nath, Sujit Kumar etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. Five of these songs have already been discussed in the past.
Here is the sixth and final song from “Chhaliya”(1973). This song is a cabarat song. It is sung by Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Jayshree T. Navin Nischol is also visible in the picturisation.
This movie had another cabarat song in it which was also sung by Asha Bhonsle but that was picturised on Helen. Looking at the costumes of Jayshree T (in this song) and that of Helen (in the other cabarat song), I get the feeling that the cabarat dress designer of this movie had quite an easy time in the movie. 🙂
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.
With this song, “Chhaliyaa”(1973) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
