“Aangan”(1959) was directed by O P Datta. This by now forgotten movie had Rehman, Amita, Chand Usmani, Agha, Gulab, Badri Prasad, Ramavtar, Jugnu etc in it.
Here is the first song from this movie to appear in the blog. This song is a duet which is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Geeta Dutt. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song which, going by the sounds of it appears a dance song to me.
I have not been able to get a few words right. I request our readers with keener ears to fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections as applicable.
