“Bahaana” was directed by M Kumar for Silver Films, Bombay. The movie had Sajjan, Meena Kumari, Sheila Vaz, Helen, Kumar, Krishna Kumari, Anwar, Mehmood, Nisar, Sulochana etc. in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. Here is the seventh song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist of this song. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.
Though the song sounds like a familar song to me, this song is apparently a lesser heard song these days. Video of this song does not seem to be available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
With this song covered, only one more song from this movie is left to be discussed. That left out song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and I have not been able to locate this song so far. This song is “muhabbat kya hai haseen dhokha hai”.
