“Raunaq”(1944) was directed by Dwarka Khosla for Saubhagya Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Motilal, Charlie, Chandramohan, Swarnlata, Chandraprabha etc in it.
Here is an obscure song from this obscure movie. According to HFGK, this song is sung by Hamida. But the voice sounds very much like Amirbai Karnataki to me. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the singer of this song.
Going by the sounds of this, this song appears to have been picturised as a mujra song.
