“Naya Zamaana”(1957) was directed by Lekhraj Bhakri for Link Films, Bombay. The movie had Pradeep Kumar, Mala Sinha, Veena, Kammo, Leela Mishra, Badri Prasad, Gope, Shukla, Poonam Kapoor, Shakuntala, Brahmdatt, Daizy Irani, Baby Naaz, Al Nasir etc in it. Pradeep Kumar and Al Nasir were guest artists in this movie.
There were ten songs in this movie which is described as a social film in HFGK. Here is the first song from this movie to appear in the blog. this song is sung by Lata. Prem Dhawan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kanu Ghosh.
Picturisation of the melancholic song shows Mala Sinha left holding a baby while her partner responsible for the baby has deserted her. That way this movie prima facie appears to have a story line along the lines of “Dhool Ka Phool” (1959), another movie starring Mala Sinha in a similar role. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the story of this movie which is making its debut in the blog with this song.

And I was thinking there was no situation like the above song when Rajindra Krishan gave me the same situation to write the lyrics in 1968. If you compare my lyrics(posted earlier in the blog) I humbly feel that I did a better job which was liked immensely by RK. I reproduce it again

Feeling Nostalgic, When I was under the age of may be 3 or 4. I was noticed that my father often listing this song. Even when he had going under the melancholy moment he did same things.
