“Bairam Khan”(1946) was directed by Gajanan Jaageerdaar for Standard Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Mehtab, Jaageerdaar, Ghulam Mohammad (actor), David, Lalita Pawar, Benjamin, Hansa, Zebunnissa, Sunalini Devi, Chhotu, Shahnawaz, Latika, Akbar, Sadiq Ali, Dalpat, Zilani, Ramesh, Raman lal, Sham Lal etc in it.
Three songs from “Bairam Khan”(1946) have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog.
The song is sung by Shamshad Behgam and chorus. Butaram Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ghulam Haider.
Only the audio of this song is available. It is almost certain that the song was picturised on Mehtab, the leading lady of this movie.
