Song-Itni badi duniya mein (Aaiye)(1949) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Nakshab, MD-Nashaad
Lyrics
dil ki uljhan apna gham m m
be-aasra kis’se kahen aen aen aen aen
poochhna ye thha ke hum mar jaayen ya jeete rahen
itni badi duniya mein nahin koi hamaara
nahin koi hamaara
kya tu bhi nahin toote huye dil ka sahaara
nahin koi hamaara
itni badi duniya mein nahin koi hamaara
nahin koi hamaara
pehlu mein mere dil hai magar
pehlu mein mere dil hai magar
dard se bharpoor
majboor hoon majboor
duniya ne sataaya mujhe ae ae
duniya ne sataaya mujhe
taqdeer ne maara
kya tu bhi nahin
toote huye
dil ka sahaara
nahin koi hamaara
toone na suni
dard bhare ae ae
dil ki kahaani
o o o
o o o
dard bhare ae
dil ki kahaani
tujhko thhi sunaani
tujhko thhi sunaani
bhagwaan tujhe ae
bhagwaan tujhe
dil ne kayi baar pukaara
kya tu bhi nahin toote huye dil ka sahaara
nahin koi hamaara
itni badi duniya mein nahin koi hamaara
nahin koi hamaara
kab tak bhala toofaan ke thapedon se ladenge
kya jee ke karenge
kashti ko dubo denge
ae ae ae ae ae ae
kashti ko dubo denge
jo paaya na kinaara
kya tu bhi nahin toote huye dil ka sahaara
nahin koi hamaara

Thanks Atulbhai for this melodious song of my liking. I also appreciate your classifying the song as ‘Pathos’. The earlier often used classification as ‘Melancholic’ had negative meaning.(Again as far as I am concerned)
