“Dil”(1946) was directed by S F Hasnain for Fazlli brothers, Bombay.. The movie had Noorjahaan, Abdul Latif, Baby Zubaida, Amina, A M Khan, Kamal, Geeta Bose, Ghory, Bhudo Advani, Anwari, Razi, Anees etc in it. etc in it.
This movie had ten songs in it. As many as eight of these songs have been covered in the blog.
Here is the ninth song from “Dil”(1946) to appear in the blog. This song, like the earlier one is credited to Prabodh Dey. He was an up and coming singer better known as K C Dey’s nephew. We now know him as Manna Dey, of course.
Shams Lucknowi is the lyricist of this song. Music is composed by Zafar Khursheed.
