“Night in London”(1967) was directed by Brij for Kapoor Films, Bombay. the movie had Mala Sinha, Biswajeet, Johny Walker, Helen, Anwar, Shetty, Madhumati, Robert, Supariwala, Jagdeesh Bhalla etc in it.
The movie had seven songs in it. Six songs from the movie have been covered in the past.
Here is the seventh and final song from “Night in London”(1967) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata and Rafi. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
This song is the title song of the movie. It is picturised as a dance song on HelenMadhumati and a balding gentleman that I am unable to identify. Then there are other dancers as well who sing in chorus.
I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the actor who lip syncs in Rafi’s voice.
With this song, “Night in London”(1967) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
PS-Surya Kumar is the male dancer. The female dancer is not Helen but Madhumati (Helen look alike). I thank our knowledgeable readers Nitin Shah and Yogeshwari Godbole for these identifications.
