“Soorat Aur Seerat”(1962) was directed by Bahl for Shobhna Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Dharmendra, Nutan, Sulochana, Ifthekhar, Honey Irani, Asit Sen, Leela Misra, Narbada Shanker, Badri Prasad, K. N. Singh etc in it.
The movie had four songs in it. Three songs from the movie has been discussed in the past.
Here is the fourth and final song from “Soorat Aur Seerat”(1962) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and chorus. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Roshan.
Only the audio of this song is available. This song, the least known song from the movie, is a hidden gem, which I heard for the first time only just now.

Excellent semi-classical song by Asha and Roshan. My favorite since ages, even I tried to sing it in a staged program.
