“Diwanji”(1950) was produced by Ravi Tandon and directed by Gulabbhai Desai. The movie had Raj Kumar, Krishna Kumari, Dalpat, Gulab etc in it.

This obscure movie had seven obscure songs in it and hardly any details are available about them.

Here is the first song from “Diwanji”(1950) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Lyricist is not known. Music is composed by S Bannerji.

Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.

I have not been able to get a word (may be more) correct in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the blanks/ suggest corrections as applicable in the lyrics.

With this song, “Diwanji”(1950) makes its debut in the blog.

Song-Kise apne gham ki kahaani sunaaun (Diwanji)(1950) Singer-Geeta Dutt, MD-S Bannerji

kise apne gham ki kahaani sunaaun
kise apne gham ki kahaani sunaaun
kise daastaan soone dil ki bataaun
kise apne gham ki kahaani sunaaun

bebasi ki ye haalat
main kaise sahoongi ee ee
museebat ki aandhi mein kaise rahoongi ee ee
ye zulmon ka dariya
ye paamaal kashti ki dhaara
bachne ko saahil main paaun
kise apne gham ki kahaani sunaaun

loota hai zaalim ne
jo kuchh thha apna
wo ?? aasha hai sapna
laga meri naiya kinaare khivaiya
kise aaj apna sahaara banaaun
kise apne gham ki kahaani sunaaun
kise apne gham ki
kahaani ee
