“Nakli Baap”(1949), an out and out obscure movie by now, was directed by Ahmad Ghazi for Babu Productions, Bombay. The movie had Mehrunnisaa, Shyama, Chandrika, Dilawar, Habib, Sheikh, Aziz Premi, Jagmohan, arvind Kumar, Maqba, a M Patel, F Mirza, Kanta Patel, Bajrang, Rafiq, Gafoor, Chhote, Babu, Sethi, Shyam, Dawood etc in it.
The movie had nine songs in it that have become as obscure as the movie itself.
One song from the movie has been covered in the past. Here is the second song from “Nakli Baap”(1949) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Nalini Mulgaaonkar. C M Hunar is the lyricist. Music is composed by C Narayan Rao.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
