The debut film for today is the stunt film ‘Faulaadi Mukka’ from 1965. Interesting to note that the production company is Madras Films, Bombay. The film is directed by S Azeem. The lead actors are Azaad and Indira. The supporting cast is listed as Kammo, Sherry, Murad, Sadhana Khote, Babu Raje, Nazeer Kashmiri, Ram Raseela, Mubarak, Lala Bhaiya, Shakeela Bano Bhopali, Tuntun, Baburao Pehalwan, Pehalwan, and Julian etc.
This obscure film has recently become available online – the complete film and its songs are available as video clips online. The Geet Kosh lists 5 songs for this film. The songs are written by three lyricists – Akhtar Romani, Tabish Kanpuri and Saba Afghani. The song presented today is penned by Akhtar Romani. Music is by Iqbal.
