“Sweekaar”(1973) was directed by Sudhendu Roy for Filmlands, Bombay. This movie had Mahendra Sandhu,Hansa Maker,Namit Kapoor,Raj Mehra, A.K.Hangal,Shaukat Kaifi, Keshto Mukherjee,Keshav Rana,Lalita Sinha,Aarti,Anwar,Kajal Kumar,Vijay Shah, Madhu Apte, Pardeshi, Arvind Bhatt, Master Arif,Naina, Kamal Sinha, Babu Kauwal and Party etc in it.
Unlike most Hindi movies, this movie had just two songs in it. The first song from the movie was covered in the blog just a few days ago. That was a fabulous song that had been forgotten alongwith the movie with passage of time. Tht song was :

Te YIPPEE movie song for the day has not been posted for the day. In fact no post for the day has been published today so far because I was distracted like many others and I was following the edge of the seat thriller that third test match between India and Sourth Africa was. And the match ended up with a favourable result for India, viz one of the most memorable away test win under extremely togh conditions where Indians showed remarkable memtal toughness and skill and defeated South Africans in their own den.
Now that the game is over, it is time for me to make amends as far as the blog is concerned and post the YIPPEE movie song as well as the “debut” movie song for the day. Covering the second and final song from “Sweekaar”(1973) is an easy way out as far as covering a YIPPEE movie song is concerned. So here is the third and final song from “Sweekaar”(1973) to appear in the blog. the song is sung by Lata. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The song is picturised on Hansa Maker and Master Arif. From the looks of it, this song appears to be a “dhool ka phool” genre of song.
