“Mela”(1971) was produced by A A Nadiadwala and directed by Prakash Mehra for A G Films Private Limited Bombay. The movie had Feroz Khan,Mumtaz,Sanjay Khan aka Sanjay,Rajender Nath, Randhir,Lalita Pawar,Master Sachin, Master Ratan, Ram Mohan, Nikita, Mumtaz Begum, Dulari, Kanan Kaushal(Guest Artiste),Brahm Bhardwaj,Raj Kishore, Bhushan Tiwari, Yunus Parvez, Baby Guddy, Bhalla, Mirza Musharraf, Uma Khosla, Ekram Kashmiri, Maqabool,Hari Shukla, Sushil Kumar, Munshi Munaqqa,Sadique etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. Five of them have already appeared in the blog. Here are the details of the five songs that have been covered in the past.

Here is the sixth and final song from “Mela”(1971) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.
Picturisation shows Sanjay Khan leaving for the city in search of work and he is being given a send off, HFM style, by Mumtaz. 🙂

Nahin Avinash ji, main toh ganwaar (gaya guzraa hoon aisaa hi samjhiye)hoon unn sabhi technical aspect ke baare mein, but main bahut dinon se notice kar rahaa hoon mere dwara diye gaye saregama ke audio links aap ke liye work nahin ho rahe hain, HELP

Good song, BTW, the second picture in the post is for Naushad’s Mela and not RDB’s!

But the picture shown is of the earlier Mela..1948…Dilip Kumar,Nargis: S U Sunny: Naushad.
There is also the 2000 Mela… Again with real life brothers,Amir and Faisal Khan, Twinkle Khanna; Dharmesh Darshan; Anu Malik, Rajesh Roshan, Leslie Lewis.
Is there one more Mela?

This error is made by the uploader who has uploaded this audio on youtube. It is a common error/ mistake made by many people.

the uploader Saregama industries limited uploaded the right track sung by Lata from Mela(70`s Mela),only the display picture is taken from Dilip Kumar, Nargis`s Mela,
that is the same practice of the audio company, if they upload the songs of a movie which has got a title ,with which if movies got made in different years, they will diplay the LP record image of any one of the movie,irrespectivce of the movie from which they have upload the track…..
