Today 3rd November’2020 is the eighty-third birth anniversary (born on 03.11.1937) of Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar popularly known as Laxmikant of the music duo of Laxmikant-Pyarelal. He would have been eighty-three today if he was alive and around us. But he passed away on 25.05.1998 at the age of sixty years.
As a tribute to him here is a song from the ‘1970’ movie ‘Himmat’.
‘Himmat-1970’ was directed by Ravi Nagaich for ‘Bharti International, Madras’.
It was a social movie. It had Mumtaz, Jeetendra, Prem Chopra, K.N. Singh, Naaz, Asit Sen, Tun Tun, Parveen Pal, Aruna Irani Jagdeep, Babi, Agra, Prabhakar Reddy and others.
So far, the following three songs from this movie have been posted on the blog.

As we can see from above all the three songs were posted around the same time in 2013. However one song, whose lyrics were noted down during the same time is still pending. Today I am presenting that song from the movie. This song issung by Rafi Saab.
When I shared the above songs, I was not equipped with HFGK Vol-IV (1961-1970).
When I went through the list of the songs of this movie in HFGK Vol-IV, I discovered that a surprise song was still remaining. Moreover there are two more songs in this movie that are yet to be covered.
So, this movie has seven songs as per the details given below (in their order of appearance in HFGK (which should be in order as per the movie too);

All the seven songs in this movie were written by Anand Bakshi and they were composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
Today’s song is sung by Mohd Rafi. HFGK mentions this song as the ‘theme song’ of the movie and I guess it is played in parts in the movie.
