Blog 10-Year Challenge (2011-2021) – Song No. 8

This day ten years ago (viz February 2011) saw six songs from six different movies getting covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

Ten years later, three movies whose songs were covered in the blog have been YIPPEED. Songs from the other three unYIPPEED movies can only be covered as part of Blog Ten Year Challenge today. Out of these three eligible movie, balance songs of “Taangaawaali” (1955) are not available. That leaves us ith “Kabhi Andhera Kabhi Ujaala”(1958) and “Elaan”(1971) as the only two movies hose songs arae available and can be taken up for discussion today.
“Kabhi Andhera Kabhi Ujaala”(1958) was produced by S Ajit Singh and directed by C P Dixit for Mehtab Films Private Limited, Bombay. This movie had Kishore Kumar, Nutan, Shekhar, Chitra, Lalita Pawar, K.N.Singh, Yakub, Madan Puri, Tuntun, Chhotu, Dubey, Kesri, Helen, Kumkum etc in it. The movie introduced Rati(aka T.Krishna Kumari of South Indian film industry) in it.
The movie had nine songs in it. Six spngs have been covered so far. Here are the details:-

This song is on the lines of Naya daur song “Reshmi salwaar kurtha jaali ka”, must have been a dance song picturised on Nutan and kumkum ,
