‘Bewafa’ (1952) was produced by Nargis and directed by Directed by ML Anand for the Arts, Bombay. The movie had Nargis, Ashok Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Neelam, Siddiquie, Sybil, Advani, Nizam, Sheel, Ghosh etc in it.
The movie had nine songs in it. Seven songs have been covered in the past.

The song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Shams Azimabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by AR Qureshi.
