“Lucky Number”(1961), also titled “Khooni Kaun”(1961) was produced by Manmohan Sabir and directed by Manmohan Sabir and Mohan Rathod for Manmohan Films, Bombay. The movie had Ameeta,David, Bhagwan, Hiralal, Indira(Billi), Majnu, Tuntun, Sardar Hardev Singh, Rajan Haksar, Jagdish Kanwal, Robert, Nazir Kashmiri, Ramesh, Dog Romio, Ramesh Dutt (making his debut) etc in it.
“Lucky Number”(1961) had seven songs in it. Three songs have been covered so far.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. HFGK is silent about the singer. Listening to the song, it is noticed that the voice is unmistakably Mubarak Begam’s. Manmohan Sabir is the lyricist. Anil Biswas in the music director.
The song is picturised on Indira Billi as a mujra dance song. We can also see David and Rajan Haksar as her clients in the picturisation.
