The movie ‘Aayega Aanewaala’ (1967) was produced under the banner of Kewal Productions by Kewal Mishra and KL Pandit. It was directed by Kewal Mishra. The movie stars Sanjeev Kumar, Kumkum, Savita Chatterji, Agha, Bela Bose, Ram Mohan, Kundan, Rajan Haksar, Chaman Puri, Uma Khosla, and Khairati etc. The film has six songs, all written by Naqsh Llyalpuri and composed by the music director duo – Sapan Jagmohan.
A brief synopsis of this movie is:-
On every midnight of Amavash, Pretni of Ajai Garh kills a man and kidnaps his body. Raj, a young inspector comes to investigate the mystery. In the train he finds a girl who after asking. “Do you belive in Pret Atma” disappears. He is quite horrified. He hears a song sound “Koi Aayega”. At the station of Ajai Garh the same girl introduces herself as a ‘guide’. He stays at Gulmohar Hotel and as he reaches inside he is surprised to see the same girl singing and dancing in hotel. He gets a room on the recommendation of same girl. In the night he hears the same song sound “Koi Aayega Aag Se Aag Bujhayega”. He hurriedly follows the voice and reaches to a khandhar where he finds the same train girl there singing. He follows her and as he is about to jump in a well after her, the hotel guide girl catches him. He is very much surprised to see her there. This guide girl shows him all the particular places, and introduces him to a kalakaar also. Here he finds Renu his class fellow of many years ago, who is the daughter of kalakaar. Raj has doubt that the same guide girl is pretending to be a soul but one day when he was enjoying a song with her, that girl (soul) also comes there and sings the same song “Koi Aayega…”
The movie is of a whodunit mystery genre.
The song “Mere Aanchal Se Khele Hawa” sung by Asha Bhosle is lip synced by Kumkum, while Sanjeev Kumar is also seen in the video.
