“Kaun Hamaara”(1947) was a social movie which was directed by Chaturbhuj A Doshi for Ranjit Movietone, Bombay. This movie had Roop, Nihaal, Dixit, Bipin Gupta, Motibai, Sheikh Hasan, Leela Shinde, K Tipnis etc in it.
This obscure movie had nine obscure songs that were rare to locate. Two of these songs have been covered in the blog. Those two songs were covered in 2012 and after that, other songs from this movie were not discussed because they were not available online.
Now the remaining songs are gradually becoming available thanks to the generosity of YT uploaders. These uploaders are often not very clear about the details of these uploads, though.
This song, the third song from “Kaun Hamaara”(1947) to appear in the blog, is sung by Hamida Bano and A R Ojha. Pt Indra Chandra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Bulo C Rani.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
