“Deewaali Ki Raat”(1956) was produced by Vishandas Sapru and directed by Deepak Asha for V.A.R.Productions. The movie had Talat Mehmood, Roopmala, Shashikala, Gope, Motisagar, Neeta etc. in it.
“Deewaali Ki Raat”(1956) had ten songs in it. Eight of these songs have been covered in the blog, including theme songs that dealt with the festival of Deepawali.
The last two songs from the movie are “normal” songs in the sense that they are not Deepawali songs. Moreover they are rare songs that were not available till recently.
Here is the ninth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is a sad song which is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Pt Phaani is the lyricist. Music is composed by Snehal Bhatkar.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowldgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
