The song in this post is from a ‘1956’ movie ‘Jungle Queen’. This movie is going to make its debut on the blog today. That is surprising for me as I was under the impression that this movie must be already available on this blog with all its songs covered. Today’s movie “Jungle Queen” was directed by Nari Ghadiyali for ‘Rajani Chitra, Bombay’. It was produced by S.J. Rajdev. It had Nadia, John Kawas, Leela Gupte, Habeeb, Azeem, Sheikh, Shanta Patel, Maqbool, Hanuman, Mustafa, Abdul Rab Qawwal, Sheela Burman, Heera Sawant and others. This movie was passed by Censor Board on 20.03.1956.
“Jungle Queen-1956” has six songs written by Preetam Dehalvi. Music for this movie was composed by Nisar Bazmi. The singer’s list for this movie includes Mubarak Begum, Khurshid Bawra, Hameed, Sunil Kumar, and Abdul Rab Qawwal. Today I am presenting the first song from this movie which is sung by Mubarak Begum. Only the audio of the today’s song is available. Lyrics are by Preetam Dehalvi and music is composed by Nisar Bazmi.
