Kamsune/Unsune songs of Asha Bhosle- 22

This song under discussion is “Jis Ke Liye Mera Dil Jaley” by Asha Bhosle. It is written by Anand Bakshi and is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The song is from “Haseenon Ka Devata” (1971).

“Haseenon Ka Devata” (1971) is a Hindi-language action-drama film directed by Ravikant Nagaich for producer Ram Dayal. It starred Sanjay Khan, Rekha, Bindu, and Helen in lead roles. The film blends suspense, romance, and espionage, in a style similar to Nagaich’s other spy thrillers like Farz, Keemat, etc.

Here’s the story of the movie:

The story follows Suraj (played by Sanjay Khan), a courageous and clever man who becomes entangled in a dangerous web of deceit, crime, and seduction. Suraj is a government agent (or a detective, depending on interpretation) assigned a mission to investigate a mysterious case involving a gang of international criminals.

These criminals operate under the guise of a fashion business, using beautiful women and glamour as a front for illegal activities like smuggling and espionage. The kingpin behind this glamorous underworld is a shadowy figure manipulating events from behind the scenes.

Suraj adopts a secret identity and goes undercover, infiltrating the world of fashion and high society. Along the way, he meets several women, each with their own agenda: Rekha, who plays the innocent and virtuous love interest. She becomes emotionally involved with Suraj and later aids him in his mission. Bindu and Helen, who portray glamorous and morally ambiguous women tied to the criminal organization. Their interactions with Suraj are filled with manipulation, seduction, and shifting loyalties.

As Suraj digs deeper, he discovers that the organization is more dangerous than it initially appeared. Using his wits, charm, and physical prowess, he systematically exposes the villains, defeats their plans, and brings justice to the criminals.

The film has a 1970s masala-thriller vibe with stylish song sequences, action set pieces, dramatic confrontations, and glamorous locations. Was Like other Ravikant Nagaich films, it borrows stylistically from Western spy thrillers like James Bond but remains rooted in Bollywood’s melodramatic and musical sensibilities. It was a big flop at the box office!!!

One song from this movie was already covered by Atul in 2009. This is the second of the total six songs of the movie.

This song is lip synced by Bindu and we can also see Sujit Kumar dancing and romancing with her.

Song-Jiske liye mera dil jaley (Haseenon Ka Devta)(1971) Singer-Asha Bhonsle, Lyrics-Anand Bakshi, MD-Laxmikant Pyarelal

Lyrics:

jiske liye mera dil jaley haaye
saaree raat yoonhee jaaye
mujhe neend naheen aaaye
kya karoon
yeh woh jaane na
yeh woh jaane na
yeh woh jaane naaa
haa haa haa
jiske liye mera dil jaley haaye
saaree raat yoon hee jaaye
mujhe neend naheen aaye
kya karoon
yeh woh jaane na
yeh woh jaane na
yeh woh jaane na
yeh toh jaane na

karvat main toh badaltee rahoon
raat bhar yoon hee machaltee rahoon
chain se woh kaheen sooya rahe
aur main aag mein jaltee rahoon
dil mera tadpe
aahein main bharoon
kya karoon
haa
yeh toh jaane na
yeh toh jaane na
yeh toh jaane na
yeh toh jaane na
ha aa
ha aa

aag lagaana toh aaye usey
lekin bujhaana na aaye usey
samjhe na koi ishaara mera
kaise mera dil bulaaye usey
jee ka haal kya kahoon
jiyoon na maroon
kya karoon
haa
haay woh jaane na
haay woh jaane na
haay woh jaane naaa
ha ha ha
jiske liye mera dil jale haaye
saaree raat yoon hee jaaye
mujhe neend naheen aaye
kya karoon
yeh woh jaane na
yeh woh jaane na
haay woh jaane na
haay woh jaane na
yeh woh jaanoo na
yeh woh jaanoo na
haay woh jaaane na
haay woh jaaane naaaa
