#the Decade of Seventies – 1971 – 1980 #
————————————————————————
# Bhoole-Bisre Geet # (Composer– R.D. Burman-Parchhaayiyaan-1972)
——————————————-———————————————

In this post I present a song from the ‘1972’ movie ‘Parchhaayiyaan’. Though the music of this movie is composed by R.D. Burman, none of the songs from this movie ring a bell for me. I may have forgotten them, in case I had listened to them, or may be I failed to associate them with this title.

I think this movie was a lesser known and forgotten movie of its time and so its songs were also forgotten.

‘Parchhaayiyaan-1972’ was directed by Sharan Kumar Chand for ‘Noorjahan Films’. It was produced by K. Zaidi and Azad.

It had Vinod Khanna, Reshma, Bindu, Sujit Kumar, Iftekhar, Sajjan, Murad, Tarun Ghosh, Bhagwan Sinha, Meena T., Mohan Choti, Ranjeet (guest appearance), Shaukat Kaifi, Mona, Kunwar Ajit, and Indrani Mukherjee.

Story and screenplay for this movie was written by Ranjan Bose. Dialogues of this movie were written by Rahi Masoom Raza.
Editing of this movie was done by Subhash Gupta.

This movie was passed by Censor Board on 15.11.1972.

“Parchhaayiyaan-1972” has five songs written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and composed by R.D. Burman. Lata Mangeshkar, Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, and Asha Bhonsle had given their voices to the songs in this movie.

This movie had made its debut on the blog on 05.09.2014 with its song ‘saanson mein kabhi, dil mein kabhi, nazron mein rahaa karnaa’ sung by Mohd Rafi and Asha Bhonsle.
Thereafter second song from this movie i.e. ‘khuli khuli zulfen khoye khoye nain’ sung by Kishore Kumar was posted on the blog on 02.04.2015.

he song being covered today is the third song from this movie to be presented on the blog. Today’s song is sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. Vinod Khanna and Bindu lip-sync on screen. This song is shown happening in a ‘village function’ and it seems to be inspired from ‘folk music’ (which I am unable to identify).

Also seen in the picturisation of the song are Sujit Kumar and Reshma. Both of them are ‘jealously’ watching Vinod Khanna and Bindu doing this ‘romantic’ number. One can even notice actress Reshma ‘shaking’ in anger. 🙂

Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist and music is composed by R.D. Burman for the song.

let us now enjoy the song …

#the Decade of Seventies – 1971 – 1980 #
————————————————————
# Bhoole-Bisre Geet # # Dil Ka Raaja -1972#
—————————————

Today’s song is from the ‘1972’ movie ‘Dil Ka Raaja’.

This is another movie which I came across while presenting the ‘missing movies of 1972’ on the blog. Though this movie made its debut on the blog way back on 14.10.2014, only one song from this movie has been posted on the blog. I do not remember to have listened to other songs from this movie. That is the reason for this post where today we will enjoy the second song from this movie.

Music for this movie is also composed by R.D. Burman.

‘Dil Ka Raaja-1972’ was directed by P. Madhwan for ‘Nadiadwala Associates, Bombay’. It was produced by A.A. Nadiadwala.

It had Raj Kumar, Leena Chandavarkar, Ajit, Bindu, Jagdeep, Indrani Mukherjee, Randhir, Meena T., Sheikh, Surendra Rahi, Manjeet, Omkar, Pandit Iqbal, Jankidas, Uma Dutt, Rajesh, Maqbool, Master Anil, Master Ripal, and Waheeda Rehman (in special appearance).

Story and screenplay of this movie was written by Balamurugan. Dialogues of this movie were written by Kaushal Bharti.

Editing of this movie was done by Babubhai Thakkar.

This movie was passed by Censor Board on 29.11.1972.

As I mentioned above one song from this movie has been posted on the blog earlier and that was presented by Shri Satyajit Rajurkar on the blog.

In his post (which is his passionate post about Rafi Saab) he had also mentioned about the story of this movie which I am reproducing below from his post.

This movie is about two brothers who try to retrieve the lost glory of their “king” father through hard work and sincerity. After generously donating all the wealth accumulated by three generations of his family, Ramnagar-based Raja Vichitra Singh (Raaj Kumar), faces humiliation at the hands of Thakur Gajendra Singh (Ajit) when he is unable to pay a dowry for his sister, Gauri (Indrani Mukherjee). He does fulfill his promise by mortgaging his mansion, Raghupathi Bhavan, but the shock kills his wife, Lakshmi (Waheeda Rehman). Humiliated, with no one coming forward to help him, he leaves Ramnagar, along with his three children, Raja (Raaj Kumar), Bajrang (Jagdedep), and Vijaya (Meena T) and re-locates to Bombay, hoping to accumulate Three Lakh Rupees, so that he can get the Bhavan back as well as restore his honour. The rest of the story is about how Vichitra Singh, now a tonga driver and his children, who end up working as a coolies and labourers, try and save the money to enable them to get the mansion back.

The movie is a remake of the A Nageshwar Rao starrer “Dharma Daata” (1970).

‘Dil Ka Raaja’ had five songs written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and composed to music by Rahul Dev Burman.

Mohd Rafi, Asha Bhonsle and Manna Dey had given their voices to the songs in this movie.

Here is the list of songs of this movie.

SNo Song Title Singer/s Posted On
01 Sundar hoon aisi main jidhar chaloon Asha Bhonsle, chorus
02 Sundar ho aisi tum jidhar chalo ek baar Mohd Rafi
03 O rajeshwari … badi hai shohrat tumhaare honthhon tumhaari aankhon ki Mohd Rafi,Asha Bhonsle
04 Jinke paas haathi ghoda, unke paas dil hai thodaa Rafi, Asha,Manna Dey
05 Jaao jaao tum bhi jaao, samajhte kya ho Mohd Rafi 14.10.2014

Today’s song is sung by Rafi Saab and Asha Bhonsle and on screen it is performed by two pairs i.e. Raj Kumar – Leena Chandavarkar, and Jagdeep – Bindu. (Rajkumar and Jagdeep play brothers in this movie).

This is a nice entertaining song sung by Rafi Saab and Asha Bhonsle. I hope readers will enjoy listening and watching this song.

Let us now enjoy today’s song …

Lyrics are by Majrooh Sultanpuri and music is composed by R.D. Burman.

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2012-2022) – Song No. 30
————————————————————————————–

This date ten years ago was 14 March 2012. That day saw four songs from four different movies getting discussed in the blog. Here are the details:-

Blog post number Song Movie (Year) Remarks
5635 De de khuda ke naam pe pyaare Alam Ara(1973) One song out of 11 covered so far
5636 Nagri meri kabtak yoonhi barbaad rahegi Man Ki Jeet(1944) Movie YIPPEED by now
5637 Kabhi tanhaayiyoon mein ek aisi bhi ghadi aayi Meenar(1954) Movie YIPPEED by now
5637 O jaane waale mudke zara dekhte jaana Shri 420(1955) Movie YIPPEED by now

One can notice that three movies out of four whose songs were covered ten years ago on this date have since been YIPPEED. That leaves us with only one movie which is eligible for Blog Ten Year challenge today (14 March 2022).

That movie is “Alam Ara”(1973).

Does the name “Alam Ara” and the date 14 march ring any bells ? Indeed it does, it was on 14 march 1931 that “Alam Ara”(1931) became the first Hindi talkie movie to be shown to public. The inaugural show of the movie took place at 5:30 PM in Bombay (now Mumbai) in Majestic Talkies. That was a saturday.

That movie is no longer available but movies with same name and same story were released in 1956 as well as 1971. Like the 1931 movie, even its 1956 and 1971 version are difficult to come by. Ten years ago on this date, a song of “Alam Ara”(1971) was discussed by Sudhir Jee, who managed to locate a song of “Alam Ara”(1973). This song had exactly the same lyrics as the very first song of “Alam Ara”(1931)- namely- “De de khuda ke naam pe pyaare”. Even more remarkably, it is sung by the same singer actor who sang this song in the 1931 movie, namely Wazir Muhammad Khan ! That writeup by Sudhir Jee is worth a relook on this special occasion.

14 march 2012 was exactly 81 years after “Alam Ara”(1931) was released. 14 march 2022 is exactly 91 years after “Alam Ara”(1931) was released. It is quite befitting that we discuss songs of “Alam Ara”(1973) on both thes days.

“Alam Ara”(1973) was produced by Mafatlal Shah and was directed by Nanubhai Vakil for Jaishree Films, Bombay. The movie had Nazima, Ajit Sachdev, P Jairaj, Mohan Choti, Uma Dutt, Rajnibala, Mohan Sherry, Munshi Munakka, Bhushan Tewari, etc. Wazir Muhammad Khan played the same role in 1973 movie that he had played in 1931, and 1956 versions of the movie. He was 31, 54 and 71 years old respectively when he played the role of fakeer and sang the same song in his own voice in all the three versions. !

Today, as part of Blog Ten Year Challenge, here is another song from “Alam Ara”(1973). This song is sung by Krishna Kalle, Chandrani Mukherjee and chorus. Kaifi Azmi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Iqbal Qureshi.

Video of the song has become available by now. This song has two picturised versions. Part I (longer) is picturised on Bindu, Madhumati, Uma Dhawan, Saroj Khan etc with P Jairaj also visible on the throne. Part II is picturised on Ajit Sachdev and Naazima.

Lyrics of the song and other details were provided by Prakashchandra.

Blog Day :

4915 Post No. : 16737 Movie Count :

I count the minutes the days the hours. . .
I count the stars. . .

Days, then weeks, then months – on to years and decades. The march of time incessantly continues. Superimposed on this unremitting progression is a calendar that allows us to measure passages of time. The philosophers of yore had no tools other than observation and contemplation, by which they used to measure natural phenomena. And then this measurement and contemplation over long periods of time uncovered patterns of celestial movements which tied into the the design of changing climate on earth. And thus was born the concept of calendar and measures of years. Over a period of time it got refined into a detailed structure that we now see as twelve months and 365 days. Of course with further refinements of leap years and leap centuries to make accurate adjustments to synchronize the this framework with the precise movement of Sun in our skies.

As aeons progressed, the year became a substantive measure of passage of time that fitted well into the cycle of seasons, and hence into the cycle of agriculture and farming of crops. This was the basic standard that started it all – there is nothing more critical in the world than food for survival. Air and water are available, but food – it has to be grown.

So the year became a standard of passages in life. The human life, its works and its achievements got tied with the cycle of years. Age of humans, education, performance measures of all kinds et al, got tied to the cycle of years. Longevity of relationships and the apparent joy of happiness, trust and loyalty, financial turnovers – you name it. Everything happens with the passage of years.

And the year also become the benchmark of celebrations, be it birthdays, anniversaries etc., everything is in terms of number of years.

And this pyramid is completed when we celebrate the passage of the ‘year’ itself. From time immemorial, different races, different nations, different belief systems, different working systems, and more – have identified their own regulated time points within a year, when the completion of one year is announced. Within our own country we have multiple celebrations around the year, when we announce the dawn of a new year. And so have many other countries, religions and sects of people.

The Gregorian calendar is the most prevalent and accepted calendar around the world at present times. And hence the start of a fresh year as per this calendar is also a celebration that has been accepted worldwide. Come 1st January, and the dawn of the New Year is celebrated across all nations and across all time zones. So that brings us to the celebration of the New Year on our blog also.

Over the past thirteen plus years, we have celebrated this day fourteen times, starting with 1st January 2009, and counting up to today i.e. 2022. As I tried to trace out the songs which are specifically New Year celebration songs, I could locate only 11 songs that have been used so far on this blog. No doubt the celebration and greetings messages are contained in some more posts that are dated 31st Dec and 1st Jan. But not all those songs are specifically New Year celebration songs. Here is the list of these eleven songs. In case I have missed any, please leave a comment, and I shall update this table.

Our dear Prakash Chandra ji has been very diligent with ferreting out songs for special occasions, and he has been very helpful in the past in getting details about New Year celebration songs to Atul ji and myself. Actually two of his suggested songs are still waiting. As I was trying to use one of them for this post, I discovered that the links provided were not functional at this time. So for today, we are using this song from the 1977 film ‘Zehreeli’. The film makes its debut on our blog today.

‘Zehreeli’ is a run-of-the-mill crime and punishment tale. A B-grade movie, that most likely came and went without raising much interest. The film comes from the production house of Amba Films,Bombay and is directed by VN Reddy, who is also the cinematographer of this film. The star cast of this film is listed as Neetu Singh, Shailendra Singh, Bindu, Jalal Agha, Imtiaz, Virendra, Jairaj, Purnima, Sharat Saxena, Jagirdar, Satish Arora, Nandita Thakur and others.

As per Geet Kosh, there are three songs in this film. The music director for this film is Sharda, whom we better know as a singer.  As I check the MD details on the blog, we already have four songs on board, that have been composed by her. This now is the fifth song composed by her to be showcased here.

Two songs of this film are penned by Vithalbhai Patel and one song is written by Abhilaash. This song is from the pen of Vithalbhai Patel. The singing voices are of Mohammed Rafi and Aarti Mukherji. On screen, Bindu is lip syncing the voice of Aarti Mukherji. I had a hard time trying to identify the gentleman who lip syncs Rafi Sb’s voice. The name is M Naidu, and he is also the choreographer for the film. I must thank my dear friend Ahsaan Bhai, an ardent fan of Rafi Sb, for this identification.

The song is somewhat peculiar. It has only one stanza after the mukhda, and it was also an exercise to confirm that this is the complete version. The audio of the song, and also the song on screen has a longer duration. More than half the duration of the song is simply music and dance by Bindu. Oh well, the powers that may be. It is a song of Happy New Year message, so here we are.

This is the opening song of the film immediately after the credits are displayed on screen.

And so, it is a goodbye to the dear 2021, and a welcome to the fresh and new 2022.
Wishing all readers, friends and fellow band-wagoneers, a Very Happy and Peaceful New Year.

Blog Day :

4727 Post No. : 16443

Today 27th June 2021 is the eighty-second birth anniversary (27.06.1939 – 04.01.1994) of music composer Rahul Dev Burman or Pancham Da as we fondly know him.

On this occasion we remember him and celebrate his birth anniversary by listening to songs composed by him. That way we pay our humble tributes to this great genius who ruled Hindi Film Music from the seventies to mid-eighties.

Though more than seven hundred R D Burman songs are already showcased in the blog, I was still confused about the song to be selected for today’s presentation, seeing that many of Pancham’s well known songs are still not yet covered on the blog. Nowadays I am listening to Vividh Bharati daily and I am regularly coming across many of his songs on the radio (not yet covered here). whenever I listen to them, I feel like sharing the lyrics of those songs in the blog. Out of 1755 songs estimated to be composed by him in HFM we have posted only 739 songs on the blog so far. So we have yet to reach the halfway mark as far as R D Burman songs in the blog is concerned.

(I have also noted couple of new topics about the songs composed by R.D. Burman and will try to bring them on the blog in future).

As observed above, we are still a long way off from enjoying the ‘music’ of the great genius Rahul Dev Burman fully in the blog.

A lot has already been written about Pancham Da’s music, his geniuses, his ‘era’ of ‘music’, his ‘rise’ in the Hindi Film Music and the days when he was ‘left alone’ by the people in the Film Industry. Few books have also been published about ‘the man and his music’ i.e., R.D. Burman. There have been many articles on him on our blog itself. So I ill not repeat the same details and I will straightway to today’s song now.

Today we will listen to one of the songs composed by R.D. Burman which is from the movie ‘Chalta Purza-1977’. It was produced and directed by Bhappi Sonie for his home productions. This movie had Rajesh Khanna, Parveen Babi, Rakesh Roshan, Ajit, Ranjeet, Asrani, Purnima, Baby Chintu, Sonia Sahni, Sudhir, Manmohan, V. Gopal, Leena Disuza, Kirti Kumar, Kuljit, Dhoomal, Aparna Chaudhary, Madan Keni, Bramha Bharadwaj, Shyam Kumar, Mumtaz Begam, Lalita Kumari, Manorama, Habib, Keshav Rana, Madhup Sharma, Kamal, Kamaldeep, Dilip Dutt, Jankidas and others. Bindu make a special appearance in this movie, while Murad, Raj Mehra, Komila Virk, Keti Mirza and Dev Kumar make a guest appearance in this movie.

Story and Screenplay of this movie was written by Sachin Bhaumick and dialogues were written by Kader Khan. Editing for this movie was done by M.S. Shinde.

This movie was passed by Censor Board on 16.06.1977, that is almost forty-four years back.

There were four songs in this movie composed by R.D. Burman and written by Anand Bakshi. Asha Bhonsle, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Sushma Shreshtha gave their voices to the songs in this movie.

Following is the list of songs of this movie-

S.No. Song Title Singer Posted on the blog on
01 Ye raat ne rang jamaaya hai, nayaa khilaadi aaya hai Asha Bhonsle
02 Aa gaye ham dildaar teri gali mein dilbar yaar Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar Being presented today
03 Baby ghar chalo ghar tum bin hai soona Kishore Kumar, Sushma Shreshtha 29.12.2016
04 Aapne farz nibhaaya hai … band lifaafe mein jaise paighaam likha hota hai Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar 06.02.2013

As mentioned above two songs from this movie ‘Chalta Purza-1977’ have been posted on the blog. (We can also see that we are going in ascending order 😊 in posting of the songs of this movie).

Today’s song is the third song from this movie to be posted on the blog. Today’s song is
sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar and on the screen Bindu and Rajesh Khanna have lip-synced for the voices of Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar, respectively. The song seems to be happening in a marriage ceremony in the movie, I guess its marriage ceremony of Rakesh Roshan who can be seen with Rajesh Khanna, Bindu, and many others in the picturization of this song.

I would request knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie and its songs.

Let us now enjoy today’s song …

Phir mat karna aisi baat
Yaari toot jaayegi

Bade naseebon waali hai tu
Lagi hai hamko pyaari
Bade naseebon waali hai tu
Lagi hai hamko pyaari
Ham chal diye to
Reh jaayegi saari umr kunwaari
Are mere liye bahut hain ladke

Jhagdaa mat kar beech bazaar
Nakhre chhad ho ja tayyar
Gaddi chhoot jaayegi
Main nahin jana tere saath
Leja waapas ye baarat
Phir mat karna aisi baat
Yaari toot jaayegi

Gali gali phirte hain tere jaise
Kayi deewaane
Mujhe to shaq hai bhool gaya hai
Rastaa tu anjaane

Mujhe kayi khat likhe toone
Gharwaalon se chori
Mujhe kayi khat likhe toone
Gharwaalon se chori
Chupke se mere haathon mein de de haath o gori
Maang na mera haath main na doon tujhko khairaat

Hullo Atuldom

Here is a song from “Chambal Ki Raani” (1979) which was directed by Radhakant produced by Raghunandan (censor certificate on 2.11.1979).

It had a cast of Mahendra Sandhu, Bindu, Dara Singh, Jagdeep, Narendranath, Chand Usmani, Amjad Khan, Kamal Kapoor & Urmila Bhatt (in special appearances), etc. It had music by Naushad. Jan Nissar Akhtar & Majrooh Sultanpuri were the lyricists. The movie had only Lata Mangeshkar and Mohd. Rafi for playback.

The movie was dedicated to Jan Nissar Akhtar and Krishan Chandar. To find out who Krishan Chandar was I looked up the copy of the movie available on YouTube. He was the writer of this movie.

The title is a giveaway of the story of the movie viz. Dacoit story. What I saw on Youtube only confirms this. The movie has a pre-titles scene of Chambal -the river- lamenting the state of affairs in her region. There is a raid by the dacoit party led by Dara Singh in a village, set in pre-independence era, where a informer is shown to be shot dead by Daaku Lakhan Sardar. Whereas Daaku Ajmer Singh played by Amjad Khan is shown to loot people by hoodwinking people into thinking that he is a cop. So that then establishes the story which will eventually turn out like all the other Daaku movies of that time:- lots of horses, chases, kothas, rakhi sister, a few songs to divert the attention of the opposition etc.

Bindu played Chameli a dancer (what else) and has atleast two dance numbers which are in the mujra genre (again -what else!!Emoji). The song in this post was rather popular in its time and even now played on Prasar Bharati’s Vividh Bharati radio channel very often. It is one of the songs which I have heard for a lifetime without knowing what movie or any other details till today. It is sung by Lata, written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and Naushad Ali was the composer.

We are paying tribute to the legendary composer with this post on his 15th remembrance anniversary. I am not competent enough to comment on his works but over the years I have discovered that I loved many of his songs during my growing-up years without being aware about their creators. Songs like “suhaani raat dhal chuki”, “mere mehboob tujhe mere mohabbat ki kasam”, “awaz de kahaan hai”, :jawaan hai mohabbat” etc and hundred others from the late 40s and of the following decades. It was much later I learnt who the music director for these gems were. Possibly, by that time, Naushad Saab had stopped being on centre stage of Bollywood music but he still came up with scores in movies like “Ganwaar”, “Pakeezah”, “Taangewala” etc at the rate of one movie every other year or so. He even produced a few movies and “Taj Mahal- an eternal love story” in 2005 directed by Akbar Khan was the last released work that is a long journey of 65 years as his first independent work, according to various sites on the internet, was in 1940. He began by assisting Ustaad Jhande Khan, Mushtaq Hussain and such big names of that time before “Prem Nagar” happened in 1940.

Thanking the legend for the legacy that he has left behind.

Hullo Atuldom

A very Happy New Year to the followers of the blog who go by the name Atulites. Here is wishing everyone a year different from the last.

This post is not an attempt at “This day that year” or for the “blog ten year challenge” category. Out of curiosity I just checked out the closing posts of December 2010 and opening of the year 2011. Was surprised that the last post of 2010 was on 29th December. Avinashji’s post gives details of that date. The next post was on January 1st. Saajna din bahure hamaare and Mere barbaad hone ka nazaara dekhne aale were the two songs posted. Going by the lyrics of the two songs it is obvious that they were not dedicated New Year songs or even feel good or party style songs. (I am not complaining because they are melodious). I would love to know which was the first dedicated New Year song ever, posted on the blog. My guess is it could be Saal mubaarak saahib jee by Sudhirji.

My first post for this year is a dance number. It features Bindu- the brilliant dancer from my growing up years, Atul Agnihotri, Mamta Kulkarni and Nana Patekar. It is sung by Amit Kumar, Sapna Mukherjee, Sudesh Bhonsle and Poornima (who sang as Sushma Shrestha in her childhood). It is from the 1994 released Mehul Kumar directed “Krantiveer”.

The movie was the story of a young boy who runs away from home after his doting but strict mother catches him going wayward. The boy lands up in Mumbai, and ends up saving the life of a young boy (Atul Agnihotri). The boy’s father (Paresh Rawal) takes a liking towards the child and takes him under his care . The two kids grow up, the runaway lad turns out to be Pratap (Nana Patekar). From here the story meanders through the usual masala of basti, landlord, corrupt police- judges, rich girl-middle class lad love story, killers revenge etc. There is an added character of a journalist (Dimple) who is trying to expose all things wrong in the area, through her writings. There is a at times serious and sympathetic at other times relation between Pratap and Megha (Dimple).

There have been songs in Rap style in the past too but the ’90s saw a surge in their numbersand a few regular artists followed the footsteps of singers like Bally Sagoo, Bali Brahmabhatt etc. who introduced it to music lovers with songs like “amma dekh tera munda bigda jaaye”, “aaja meri gaadi mein baith jaa” etc which were patronised by some newly formed music recording companies. Today’s “Love Rap” is written by Sameer and Anand-Milind are the music composers. This type was popular on dance floors then and the turn of the century has seen bhangda style songs ruling the air waves. Let us see what the new decade holds for music lovers.

Incidentally, January 1st happens to be Nana Patekars’ date of birth. He turns 70!!!! He has been around in the entertainment business since the ’70s with “Gaman” being his Hindi debut. Nana, along with Irrfan Khan (whom we lost last year, may his soul rest in peace) is the only actor to have won the Filmfare award in the categories of Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Villain. He has won 3 National Awards and is a Padma Shri too. He does a lot of charity without tom-toming about it. Here is wishing him health and happiness in future too.

balle balle balle balle balle
oye kudiye

mehekti jawaani
gulaabi tere gaal
nigaahon mein nasha hai
sharaabi teri chaal
mujhe toh dil jaani

na pooch bekaraari

haal haal haal
haal haal haal

(hullo

mere saath dance karoge

zara meri aankhon mein aankhen dalke baat karo
hmm
ab tum wahi karoge jo main chaahoongi
)

mi paahilya tujha dolencha through
kadhi shambhar ek kadhi shambhar two
tya diwshi zaala fever suru

oh that means you are old wine
koi jaane na kahaan lad jaaye nazar
dekho dekho dil

na dekh mujhe jaadugar machhali
teri baat lage mujhko nakli

tujhpe mera jadoo chal jaayega
ek din dil tera bhi machal jaayega
aaja aaja aaja aaja aaja aaja aa

chal hat baazu hat
