“Din Raat”(1945) was directed by Shauri Daulatvi for Navyug Chitrapat Limited, Poona. This social movie had Snehprabha Pradhan, Paresh Bannerjee, Sulochanaa Chatterjee, Vasant Thengdi, Feroza, Dar Kashmiri etc in it.
HFGK lists eight songs under this movie. Details of singers and record numbers are known for seven songs. All these songs are obscure songs that are becoming available online, but few people are taking notice. That is because one cannot locate these songs unless one is specifically searching for these songs.
Three songs from “Din Raat”(1945) have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fourth obscure song from the movie. This song is available online since 2019, but it has secured negligible views and just one like in six years.
According to HFGK, this song is sung by Rajkumari. The voice only vaguely sounds like her. Perhaps the poor audio quality may be the reason behind it.
