“Jaagir” (1959) was produced by Premnath Laroiya and directed by Jagmohan Mattu. The movie had Premnath, Meena Kumari, Ulhas, Mehmood, Minoo Mumtaz, Sheila Vaz, Niranjan Sharma, Hiralal, Anjali Devi, Kuldeep Kaur, Radheshyam, Bhudo Advani, Bhagwan Sinha, Radheshyam, Jennifer etc in it.
This movie had six songs in it. Five songs of this movie have been covered in the blog in the past. Here are the details:-

One can notice that all the songs of this movie that are covered were solo songs and they were penned by Raja Mehdi Khan. But the sixth and final song that is being covered in this post is a female duet song and it is penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri.
Shamshad Begam does bulk of soinging but the voice of Nirmala Devi is also there according to HFGK. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.
The song is picturised as a synchronised dance song on two female dancers. Minu Mumtaz is one of the dancers. I am unable to identify the other one. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the other dancer in this song. Mehmood is also visible in the picturisation as a joker in a circus.
With this song, all the six songs of “Jaagir” get covered in the blog and the movie thus gets YIPPEED in the blog.
