“Achcha Bura”(1972) was directed by Mohammad Hussain for Upkar Productions, Bombay. This “social” movie had Anupama, Dev Dutt, Dev Kumar, N A Ansari, Neelam, Sushma, Tuntun, Meena T, Mohan Choti, Praveen Pal, Sham Kumar, Polson, Shefali, V Gopal, P S Khan, Shammo, Ridku, Baby Yasmeen, Asit Sen, Bela Bose, Madhumati, Rajni etc in it.
This movie, which failed to get noticed during its first run, had four songs in it. Three were penned by Asad Bhopali whereas one song was penned by Balkavi Bairagi. Six singers were used in the four songs of the movie.
One song from the movie has been covered in the past. Here is the second song from “Achcha Bura”(1972) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Hemlata and Sulakshana Pandit. Asad Bhopali is the lyricist. Music is composed by Raj Kamal.
Only audio of the song is availaable. This song appears to be a synchroniused dance song peformed by two (or more) female dancers who seem to be peforming in a wedding function, singing this dua cum badhaai song for a newly married couple.
