“Albeli”(1974) was produced by Vijay Bali and directed by Karunesh Thakur for Kusum Pictures, Bombay. The by now obscure movie had Rehana Sultan, Vinod Mehra, Naazima, Sujit Kumar, Mahmood, Uttara(new find), Nana Palsikar, Sanjana, Maruti, V.Gopal, Husn Bano, S.N.Bannerjee, Dhanraj, Qamar Sarhadi, Billo, Kailash Kumari, Bimla Sharma, Darashan Rajendra, Ramlal, Niaz Haider, Kajal, Bhushan Tiwari etc in it.
“Albeli”(1974) had four songs in it. Three songs have been covered so far.

It is interesting to note that all the songs of this movie had different singers and lyricists. No singer and lyricist was repeated.
This movie was an equal opportunity employers as far as lyricists were concerned. Two out of four lyricits were females. It was perhaps the only such occurence where one movie had employed two female lyricists.
Here is the fourth and final song from “Albeli”(1974) to appear in the blog. As noted above, singers and lyricists were not repeated in the songs of this movie. So, this song, a duet, was sung by Manna Dey and Asha Bhonsle. Lyrics were penned by Gulshan Bawra. Gulsha Bawraa wrote lyrics in colloquial rustic Hindi, similar to the language used in the lyrics of the previous song of the movie that was covered one year ago.
Like that previous song, video of this song is not available either. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
