Kamsune/Unsune songs of Asha Bhosle – 47
The next song in the rare Asha Bhosle series is again a solo, “Door Se Karna Nazara” from Baabul Ki Galiyaan (1972). The song is composed by Ravi and written by Rajinder Krishan.
Two songs from this movie have already been posted on this blog. This is the third of five songs from the film.
“Baabul Ki Galiyaan”(1972) was directed by Satya Dev Narang for Narang Films Combines, Bombay. This “social” movie had Hema Malini, Sanjay Khan, Sonia Sahni, Jagdeep, Shatrughan Sinha, David, Asit Sen, Manmohan Krishna, Bipin Gupta, Jayshree T, Savita, Brahmchaari, Kuljeet, Chandrima Bhaduri, Satyen Kappu, Tuntun, Hiralal, S N Bannerji, Bharm Bhardwaj, C S Dubey, Johny Whisky, Dilip Dutt, Birbal, Majnu, Abhimanyu Sharma, Pal Sharma, Tiwari, Ramesh Kumar etc in it.
The story focuses on two sisters and the difficult situations they find themselves in. The plot revolves around the elder sister, who becomes a victim of domestic violence after her marriage. The younger sister then takes on the role of trying to help her and put an end to her suffering.
This song is picturised on Jayshree T (who lip syncs) and Shatrughna Sinha.
