I was specifically looking for a devotional song. While going through the Geet Kosh Volume –II (1941-1950), I come across this pleasant surprise which I am presenting here today.
I had come across this title ‘Batohi-बटोही’ in Geet Kosh (1941-1950) in the past under the list of Un-Released movies. (Those days the songs from this movie were not available on internet ).
Searching for word ‘‘Batohi-बटोही’ on this blog yields only one result. This word appears only in the famous song ‘kaun disaa mein leke chalaa re batohiyaa’ from “Nadiya Ke Paar”(1982)
Coming to the movie ‘Batohi-1949’, very less information is available about it in the Geet Kosh. The name of the director for this movie is not given.
